Dr. Alifrangis specializes in working with patients with concussions and vestibular disorders. When she was in Physical Therapy school, she sustained a significant concussion and battled with the effects of post-concussive syndrome for almost a full year before returning to complete her degree. She learned about the challenges involved in post-concussion care and has since become extremely passionate about helping guide patients through the experience of dealing with concussive symptoms.
Prior to joining Valens Physical Therapy, Christina worked at a specialty clinic treating neurologic patients and patients with inner-ear and balance disorders. She loved the challenge, but also missed working in orthopedics and with athletes.
Dr. Alifrangis is a Northern Virginia native, and is excited about continuing to serve patients in the area. She looks forward to working towards becoming a certified manual therapist and orthopedic specialist.
When she is not treating patients, Christina enjoys hiking and camping with her Australian Shepherd, and spends much of her time training for her goals as a competitive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu player.
